Jeff Burcdick Vocals & Lead Guitar
Birth Date: August 13, 1974
Birth Place: Seattle, WA
Interests: Skiing, hiking, surfing, scuba diving, fishing, motorcycle riding, sailing, just about anything that involves sunshine, and of course, music and anything to do with it.
Musical Inspirations: Bob Marley, Steel Pulse, Marc Cohn, Phish, Natural Vibrations, the Police, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Metallica (I hate to admit it), Stevie Wonder, and what ever else strikes me at the time.
BIO: Jeff was born and raised in Seattle Washington and loves it here. Because of his love he became interested in the local music scene at fifteen years old as a drummer. He had only been playing for a few months, but that didn't stop him from landing a job with the Seattle-based Metal/Grunge group Infidel. He continued with Infidel and a variety of other groups ranging from new wave to Rush to Punk Rock. He attributes his love for Reggae music to his first experience as a drummer with Hawaiian Reggae band Po'okela Street. He went from being a Rocker to loving Reggae and everything about it in one day. Before this night he hadn't even heard Bob Marley but it began an eight-year musical collaboration where Jeff feels he learned a lot about music and people in the music industry. In those years he did quite a bit of freelance work including the operation of a recording studio that produced a range of projects from full albums to commercial jingles and soundtracks. Also, during that time, Jeff realized his ability with vocals and other instruments in a solo album called Julien "I". Presently, Little Big Man is Jeff's focus and he feels that the music and the message of peace and social collaboration is right on-point for the times. "What else could you ask for? Not much in my mind." Spread a little love... Peace...
