BIO: Francis was born and raised on the beautiful island of Maui. He was surrounded by the haunting and harmonious music of the Hawaiian Islands and his interest in music began at a very young age. Learning to play the Hawaiian Ukulele at jam sessions and social gatherings was his first experience with stringed instruments that eventually led to the guitar when he became involved with the church choir and his appreciation for music grew. When he moved to Washington State to attend school he never forgot his love for the music that he brought to the Evergreen state, his love for Hawaiian and Reggae music. Friends have told him that they feel blessed to hear him sing, but he would like to thank them for letting him share the blessings. In the summer of 1996 he joined the Po'okela Street Band and feels that the years spent in this band were years of tremendous growth. It has been a long time away from his island home, but his love for music continues to grow. In his words: " I will never forget my roots and will welcome the road ahead. I will continue to grow, create, live, love and learn."
